// about me

I'm Kaustubh, a Technical Analyst at AdvantageGo (Coforge → Sapiens since June 2025), Gurugram — 8+ years deep in the same domain, which sounds like a long time until you realize it's actually two platforms and one very long-running architecture conversation: Underwriting Workbench and EXACT 5.0, enterprise P&C insurance software that quietly decides whether a claim gets processed correctly.

Day to day, that means full-stack work across .NET, Angular, TypeScript, and SQL Server — designing high- and low-level architecture for modules built from scratch, optimizing database queries and Web API response times, working across microservices and modern-monolith setups, and mentoring the occasional junior developer through their first production bug. I'm AZ-900 certified and have picked up a "Pat on the Back" and a "Technovator" award along the way, which I choose to believe means I'm good at this and not just good at Slack messages.

Right now I'm sharpening the senior-level fundamentals — the kind of things that separate "it works" from "it works, scales, and won't page you at 2am": query plans, tracking vs. no-tracking EF Core reads, and why IQueryable deferring execution is a feature, not a trap door.

A utility for converting CSV data into structured JSON — the kind of small tool that quietly saves an afternoon of manual data wrangling.

Turns raw JSON data into visual charts — a practical bridge between backend output and something a stakeholder can actually read in a meeting.

A seat allocation layout system — front-end structuring exercise focused on grid logic and visual clarity.
